MOSCOW, September 8 (RIA Novosti) - A woman who keeps 20 dogs in her flat is to be evicted from her home in the Moscow Region, a court ruled on Monday. The 57-year-old woman lives with her elderly mother and the animals in a one bedroom apartment in a residential building in the town of Yubileiny.

The court case followed repeated complaints by the woman's neighbors over noise and hygiene. In court, epidemiologists stated that the concentration of ammonia in the air far exceeded the normal level.

Neighbors began lodging complaints with local authorities "several years ago."
The court took the decision to evict the woman after she had refused to "take steps to improve the situation."
